New Years Book Tag- Bookish Resolutions

Today I found a Book Tag from Comfy Reading. And it looks like they found it from Nerdy Book Life  . I am a sucker for book quizzes like such, so I naturally had to fill it out in the name of fun!

How many books are you planning on reading in 2018?

If you read my last post, you know planning and doing and very different in my life. I’m planning on 52. I’ll be excited if there are more and I won’t be surprised if there are any less!

Name 5 books you didn’t get to in 2017, but want to make a priority in 2018.

These are in no particular order!

1.  Sarah’s Key by Tatiana De RosNay

2. The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon

3. Dune by Frank Herbert

4. All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr

5. A Fighting Chance by Elizabeth Warren

What genre do you want to read more of?

Nonfiction. I spend a lot of time reading as much Horror and Historical Fiction as possible, but after reading  Wild by Cheryl Strayed the book changed my life. The post for that is going to be postponed (hahaha) because I am going to Portland in March. My best friend gave me Into Thin Air By John Krakauer as a gift this fall, gushing that she knows I would love the book. So, 2018, bring me more life-changing Nonfiction!

Name three non-book related goals for 2018.

1. Pass the Csets- I’ve avoided taking these for way too long

2. Say no when I need to! So important now in my life

3. Finishing anything I start.

What’s a book you’ve had forever that you still need to read?

I have an entire SHELF of books to read. The one that I want to read the most right now (and I’ve probably held on to it the longest) is Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts

One word that you are hoping 2018 will be:

This is much easier than sitting and writing out a long post about all my aspirations for the new year…. I love guided posts! Thanks Comfy Reading and Nerdy Book Life!!
